Getting Closer
The new Langley Events Centre and the new home of the Langley Gymnastics Foundation is on schedule and moving forward at an amazing pace.
On November 19th, the Township and Province will be hosting the BC150 Pioneer Banquet in the 500 person banquet room in the facility. Premier Gordon Campbell will be a guest speaker, and many of the Langley "pioneers" will be honoured.
Our gymnastics portion of the building is moving along very quickly. The pits have been finished, the lighting is in, drywall is up, and some of the painting complete. We are now busy arranging the purchase of the equipment we will need to finish the facility. It is still difficult to say the exact date that we will be moving in, but we know it will be early 2009, and before April 15th, when we host the Provincial Championships.
